In Modena, specifically at Stradello Nava 6, is the Luciano Pavarotti House Museum, the place where the famous tenor lived the last years of his life. Reachable in a little more than half an hour’s drive from our agriturismo, the residence was finished in 2005 by meticulously following the indications and drawings that the Maestro provided to the architects and technicians. Even today the villa reflects the personality of the man who conceived it.

The residence is located within an estate with stables and a riding school, a great passion of the artist, where a major show-jumping competition (CSIO) has been held for 11 years since 1991 in which famous show-jumpers from the international equestrian circuit have participated.

Inside the residence one can admire various personal items of the Maestro that remind one how much value he gave to the world of opera. There are stage dresses, photographs and videos that marked his artistic parabola, awards, recognitions and memorabilia that marked his extraordinary career in the world’s most important opera houses. To visit it is to retrace Pavarotti’s daily life by accessing his most intimate memories and discovering the man who has shed the great artist’s shoes.
