The “Middle Ages” Tourist Route is a project that aims to give a historical-monumental reading of the city of Scandiano. The route is marked with a system of decorated iron bars set up with easily recognizable symbols and equipped with a QR code, capable of connecting mobile devices to online retrieval of more information on monuments and other historical and artistic emergencies. The project aims to encourage the re-evaluation of the historical, artistic, monumental and social heritage of the area. For Scandiano it is a moment to promote the historical and cultural heritage and enhance the territory. In this sense, the decision to name two new hamlets should be read: the area of “Brolo Alto” after Sun Ruffillo is called “Lambrusco” and that of Bosco del Fracasso, in Pratissolo, “Spergola” after the native Scandian vine.
